Offering A Wedding Toast

If you’re planning to attend an upcoming wedding, you might be wondering about offering a wedding toast to the happy couple. At most large weddings, any guest can offer a wedding toast. If you’re interested, get prepared. Have your wedding toast ready when the moment arrives.

As far as when to offer your wedding toast, take a cue from the wedding party. The best man or father of the bride usually offers the first wedding toast, and once all the members of the wedding party have offered their toasts, the floor will be opened to guests.

You want everyone to remember your wedding toast, not how drunk you were when you offered it!

Be sure to end your wedding toast with something sentimental and offer the bride and groom warm wishes for a happy life together. Take note of the wedding toasts that have been offered before yours, and try to give yours a unique twist. But, most importantly, speak from your heart. The bride and groom will be touched by your sincere wishes of happiness.
